Ted and I took over the “Ward Scott Files” to honor our dear friend Ward Scott who passed in February of 2024.
I come to this after having hosted my own show John Martin Talks. It is fair to say I have been a “Political Junkie” all my life. My father held various political offices from local Mayor to FL State Legislature. I literally grew up stuffing envelopes, putting up signs and knocking on doors.
I served as City Commissioner, Mayor, and City Manager of my home town of Hawthorne FL. I describe myself as “A little bit John Wayne a little bit Mark Twain and a little bit Duck Dynasty”.
Our Captain Ted’s experience in his own words.
I am a large animal veterinarian that retired after 28 years of practice, been married for 50 years, a father and grandfather. I ran against a 24-year establishment Republican “politician”. I had no political experience; he had 24 years in congress. He had 72% district name recognition and $2.3 million in his campaign account. I had less than 6% name recognition and no money in a political account. We won and I served for 8 years honoring my term limit pledge and came home.
My beliefs are simple and basic. God, Country, Family, and all abide by the US Constitution. We have a Constitutional Republic which has created the greatest degree of liberties and freedom’s the world has ever experienced. It is our duty as citizens to preserve, protect and revere it.
Ted and my mission is to Educate, Motivate and Activate our listeners so that together we can save this experiment we call the United States of America.
